Story Telling

Jill has written several short stories and Point Crime/Horror books for teenagers - chilling mysteries and 'who-done-its'. She is currently writing a book about Mrs Gosoftly (a character of her own invention) who, every time she eats a strawberry, is transported in time and place. In the story so far she has poped from an 18th Century tea party to a modern day house in 'Japonica Row'.

In her talks to school children (age range 8 to 11) Jill poses the question - what makes a character? The children pick a name, assign both the mental and moral nature of the person, Jill produces a drawing during the session, helping children to examine several human characteristics.

There are several childrens picture books in progress, including a re-work of 'Beauty and the Beast' and some in houmorus cartoon style.
